We Were Robbed!!!

It's been a few months now since we moved from Riverside. However, when were moving we decided to keep everything in our garage so that we weren't transporting things down two flights of stairs the day of our move. It seemed like a great idea. The problem was the garage door opener was very sensitive and I must have accidentally clicked it, which then opened the garage door and neither my husband or I realized it. I was signing paper work for our new home when the apartment manger at my old complex called and said our garage door had been open all morning and wanted to make sure we were aware! Of course we were not! They closed it for me since I wasn't in town at the moment. Once I drove home and picked up my hubby I told him what happened. He went out to the garage and called me down to come look. There was some dirty bike and trailer in our garage! It was a mess, all of our boxes were open, clothes and shoes everywhere! My brand new bike and double kids trailer was the first thing I noticed missing. We ended up with a lot of stuff stolen, mostly power tools and electronics! I am glad we moved out of there!

Riverside California

Our first city we moved to as part of our traveling was Riverside California. We rented out a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and stayed just under 3 months. It was a nice little city, but it felt like to go anywhere to do anything it was always quite the drive. I didn't take any pictures of the apartment, but I will try and start doing that from now on. While we were there my son Xavier had his 1st birthday! I'll have to dig through my husband's phone to see if he has any cake pictures.

Welcome to my blog. We are a family that has just started our traveling adventures and I hope to start blogging about them. Here is a little bit of background on us. My husband and I met in Twin Falls, Idaho and after we were married we moved to Richland, Washington. We decided we didn't enjoy living in one area and have decided to take our little family on an adventure.
